Samutprakarn, Thailand, April 20, 2022 – Delta Thailand donated an original Smart Water Level Monitoring System to help flood prevention at Bangpoo Industrial Estate where our plants are located. Mr. Anusorn Muttaraid, Delta Executive Director, welcomed Mr. Tada Soontonphan, Deputy Governor of Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand (IEAT) Bangpoo Office to Delta’s Samutprakarn headquarters for an official handover ceremony.

Mr. Kasemson Kreuatorn, Delta’s Senior Regional Manager for industrial automation, gave a detailed presentation of the Smart Water Level Monitoring System which leverages Delta’s industrial cloud router and DIACloud service to offer precise monitoring and control for pump stations. This will help provide the Bangpoo Industrial Estate’s more precise data on water levels in the canal network to prevent flooding.
After the ceremony, Delta managers gave the visitors a tour of the Smart Water Level Monitoring System implemented at the water pump gate outside the Delta factory. Delta industrial automation experts explained the solution and its operation.

In 2018, Delta donated the Smart Water Level Monitoring System to the Bangpoo Industrial Estate’s Eco Green Network. The rapid urbanization in the coastal Bangpoo and Praksa areas has disrupted the water flow in the local canal network. In 2020, heavy rainfall caused floods in the Export Zone of the Bangpoo Industrial Estate. To address this issue, Delta donated and implemented more Smart Water Level Monitoring Systems to further support flood prevention measures.
