Bangkok, Thailand, May 30, 2024-Delta Thailand represented Thailand’s advanced electronics manufacturing sector at the Decarbonize Thailand Symposium 2024 held at True Digital Park, Bangkok. Delta joined as a special panel speaker along with the Thailand’s industry leaders to discuss energy efficiency and carbon reduction strategies to realize RE100 and Net Zero targets.
Mr. Saroj Ruangsakulraj, Delta Thailand Energy Management Senior Manager, said, “Delta Thailand’s energy team in committed to reaching the company’s RE100 target for 100% renewable energy in our operations by 2030. Delta Electronics Group has achieved a global RE score of 76 in 2023. From 2012 to 2023, Delta received 14 Thailand Energy Awards and 2 ASEAN Energy Awards. Today our solar rooftop systems at four Thailand factories have 7.1 MWp capacity. Currently, we have two LEED certified green factories Plant 5 and Plant 7 and the have set up the first Net Zero Container Showroom in the country. ”
In a panel discussion titled-Decarbonization 101 Deep Dive: Exploring Cutting edge strategies for sustainable future, Mr. Saroj shared about Delta’s decarbonization strategies, GHG emission reduction actions and Delta’s green initiative alongside industrial energy experts from Denso International Asia, Charoen Pokphand Group, Altotech Global and Altervim.
The Decarbonize Thailand Symposium 2024: Path to Net Zero Collaboration event was organized by True Digital Park and New Energy Nexus, together with Denso International Asia, True Corporation, Mitsubishi Electric Factory Automation (Thailand) and Thairath Online.
The event aims to bring together key stakeholders from the corporate and startup sectors to facilitate knowledge sharing, networking, and innovative partnerships for a low-carbon economy.
The event’s five focused sectors are: E-Mobility, Decarbonization, Agritech, Climate Fintech, and Energy.
