Delta Singapore Volunteers Plant 50 Native Trees for a Greener Future

Delta Singapore volunteers stepped outside the office to support the National Parks Board’s OneMillionTrees Movement in 2026. Working together, the team planted 50 native trees to support Singapore’s vision of becoming a City in Nature.

The activity was a fantastic way to bring Delta’s GET initiative (Grow, Envision and Thrive) off the page and into the soil. The experience gave real meaning to each part of GET by growing our positive impact beyond the office, envisioning a greener future and taking steps towards it, and thriving alongside healthier communities and ecosystems.

Native trees play an important role in strengthening local biodiversity and expanding urban green spaces. Through this activity, our volunteers made a practical contribution that will continue benefiting the environment and local communities for years to come.

Our colleagues swapped their usual tasks for time outdoors, working together to plant 50 native saplings. By the end of the session, the trees were in the ground and ready to become part of Singapore’s growing green landscape.

Thank you to our volunteers for making this possible. As the trees mature, their contribution will remain visible in the community and become part of the greener city Singapore is working to build. With shovels in hand, our volunteers showed that meaningful change can begin with simple, practical steps.
