Delta Thailand Labour Union Supports Student Welfare with School Canteen Renovation in Sisaket

Delta Electronics (Thailand) Public Company Limited, together with the Monthly Labour Union of Delta Electronics Group, carried out its latest Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative at Ban Hong Khad Nong Takhian School in Sisaket Province on August 23–24, 2025. The program reflects the union’s ongoing commitment to advancing education, improving community infrastructure, and encouraging employee participation in social development.

The project focused on renovating the school canteen to provide students and teachers with a safer, cleaner, and more functional dining environment. The union donated 15 sets of stainless-steel tables and chairs, giving 149 students and 11 teachers access to a proper space that supports health, well-being, and improved learning outcomes.

In addition to upgrading the canteen, the union worked with community partners to host a Thod Pha Pa fundraising event. Funds raised were entrusted to the school committee to support future educational activities and development projects, ensuring the benefits of the initiative extend well beyond immediate infrastructure improvements.

This CSR effort also aligns with Thailand’s 20-Year National Strategy (2017–2036), contributing to national goals of equal opportunity, social equity, and human resource development. By enhancing school facilities and engaging with the local community, the project creates a more inclusive and supportive learning environment for children.

Employee involvement played a key role in the success of the program. Each activity engages around 40–45 Delta volunteers, who help deliver donations while spending meaningful time with students and teachers. At Ban Hong Khad Nong Takhian School, volunteers and children enjoyed two days of cultural activities, traditional sports, and musical performances, which strengthened community ties. The event concluded with a communal dinner where students, parents, and employees came together in a spirit of cooperation and celebration.

This initiative was the eighth CSR activity of 2025 and the final project in Surin Province for the year. Looking ahead, the labour union will continue organizing eight CSR projects annually. Schools are nominated through employee storytelling submissions, ensuring fairness, transparency, and active staff participation in the selection process.

Through these initiatives, Delta and its labour union reaffirm their commitment to building stronger communities. By investing in education, enhancing school facilities, and fostering collaboration with local stakeholders, Delta continues to create lasting value for students and society while strengthening its role as a responsible corporate citizen.
