Delta Thailand Stands with Hat Yai Hospital in Recovery from Southern Flooding

By DET Corp Comms - Published March 30, 2026

On January 19, 2026, our company once again showed how deeply we care about the communities around us. After the recent flooding across Southern Thailand, Delta Electronics (Thailand) took action to help restore essential public healthcare services in the region.

To support Hat Yai Hospital during this challenging time, Delta has donated funds and important medical equipment valued at THB 5,455,040. This contribution focuses on rehabilitating the hospital’s emergency patient care unit - a Level 1 tertiary care unit that was damaged during the floods. With this support, the unit is expected to fully resume services for the community by February 2026.

Our donation includes 20 High Flow Oxygen Therapy machines and 3 Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems to strengthen the hospital’s server infrastructure and support critical healthcare operations. This equipment will help strengthen patient‑care readiness and ensure stable, reliable medical services especially when emergencies arise.

The official handover was led by Mr. Jackie Chang, President and Chief Operating Officer of Delta Electronics (Thailand) and Vice Chairman of the Social Impact and Relief Committee, representing all of us across Delta Thailand.

Moments like this highlight something special about being part of Delta. When our communities face hardship, we come together - not only as a company, but as people who care. Supporting frontline medical teams and ensuring patients receive safe, continuous care is another way we live our values and contribute where help is needed most.

This is the heart of Delta: meaningful actions, shared responsibility, and a genuine commitment to lifting our communities. Together, we continue to strengthen community resilience and drive sustainable recovery. Keep our communities even stronger.
