Delta Electronics (Thailand) Public Company Limited proudly celebrated the send-off of 18 talented students from eight of Thailand’s leading universities as they begin a two-year master’s program in Power Electronics at National Taiwan University of Technology (NTUST). Fully sponsored by Delta, the program prepares these students to become future leaders in power electronics and innovation.

The participants were selected from top institutions including Chiang Mai University, Chulalongkorn University, King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang, King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok, King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi, Mahidol University, Sirindhorn International Institute of Technology, and Thammasat University. Upon graduation, the students will join Delta Thailand’s expanding R&D Center, where they will apply their expertise to strengthen innovation and accelerate sustainable growth.

To mark the start of their academic and cultural journey, the students visited Taiwan’s landmarks such as Chun Shui Tang, the birthplace of bubble tea, and the Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall. They also toured Delta Electronics Inc.’s global headquarters in Taipei, where they were warmly welcomed by Charles Chen, Chief Human Resources Officer of Delta Inc. This experience provided valuable exposure to Delta’s global leadership and connected their upcoming studies with real-world applications.

The official opening ceremony at NTUST on August 27 was led by President and Chair Professor Jia-Yush Yen, together with faculty from the College of Industry-Academia Innovation. Special greetings were shared by Delta Thailand CTO Carl Chen, CHRO Chih-hao Huang, and Delta Taiwan CHRO Rudolf Chen, who encouraged the students and outlined their vision for the program’s success.

After completing their studies, the graduates will return to Thailand to contribute to Delta’s R&D Center, advancing research in power electronics and supporting the company’s long-term commitment to innovation and sustainability. This initiative demonstrates Delta’s dedication to nurturing the next generation of engineers, empowering young talent to thrive in a global environment while contributing to a smarter and greener future.
