In celebration of National Mother’s Day 2024, Delta Thailand employees participated in a meaningful environmental initiative—mangrove reforestation at the Bangpu Nature Education Center. This special event, held on August 12, honored Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, The Queen Mother, while also making a positive impact on the environment. Organized by the Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand, the “Let's Zero Together” campaign brought together companies from the Bangpoo Industrial Estate, united in their commitment to preserving our planet.
As part of Delta Thailand’s ongoing sustainability efforts, this initiative underscores our dedication to climate action. Mangrove forests, which are crucial carbon sinks, play a significant role in absorbing carbon dioxide and protecting coastal ecosystems. By actively participating in the reforestation, Delta Thailand continues to support the global fight against climate change, aligning with our goal of achieving carbon neutrality by 2050.
For Delta Thailand employees, this event not only reflects our commitment to the environment but also reinforces the company's broader sustainability mission—promoting renewable energy, reducing emissions, and safeguarding biodiversity. As we continue our journey toward a greener, smarter future, these activities highlight the importance of collective action in shaping a sustainable world for generations to come.
At Delta Thailand, every step toward sustainability is a step we take together, embodying the spirit of our core values: 'Smarter. Greener. Together.' By protecting vital ecosystems like mangroves, we are making a tangible contribution to the planet and creating a lasting impact that goes beyond business. Let's keep moving forward, together.
