Bangkok, Thailand, November 4, 2021 - Delta Thailand donated 45 tons of our used carton box material to SCG Packaging Public Company Limited (SCGP) to produce 19 sets of eco-friendly furniture for local community schools.

Mr. Jackie Chang, Delta Thailand President, welcomed Mr. Danaidej Ketsuwan, SCGP CFO, to Delta to launch the joint sustainability and CSR project. Delta and SCGP will donate the eco-friendly furniture to local schools to benefit the community and teach innovative conservation to Thailand’s next generation.

This project to reuse DET’s carton box waste can save 765 trees, 30,600 kg of CO2 emissions, 1,170,000 liters of water, 63,000 liters of fuel and 180,000 kilowatts of energy that would be used to manufacture furniture with traditional production processes.

Delta Thailand commits to sustainable development and protecting the environment by implementing the 3 R’s of Reduce, Reuse, Recycle in our operations. Delta will continue to collaborate with partners like SCGP and donate more carton box material to support our communities.
