Bangkok, Thailand, December 23, 2022–Delta Thailand welcomed police officers from the Bangpakong Police Station to give a workshop on traffic safety and drug awareness at the company’s head office. The workshop aims to raise awareness of the importance of safety among company bus and van drivers.

The workshop is part of Delta’s ongoing activities to promote traffic safety and educate employees and contractors on safety at work. Company bus and van drivers were tested for drugs and given information on the serious danger of driving under influence of alcohol or drugs.

Delta prioritizes the safety and well-being of all employees. The company has policies in place to strictly prohibit the use of alcohol, drugs or any substance during work to prevent workplace accidents. This includes narcotics recently legalized in Thailand.

In 2021, Delta Thailand added the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) number 3 “Good Health and Wellbeing” as a target SDG. This new target SDG complements the six existing target SDGs and underscores the company’s commitment to its workforce and communities.
