This year was certainly a challenging year for us all with the COVID pandemic affecting Delta and our communities. After cooperating with all departments to guarantee the health and safety of all our Delta employees, we turned our attention to continuing to helping our communities to get through this difficult time together.
Here are a few of the many activities everyone at Delta did to protect and support our family and friends in Thailand.
Helping to protect our frontline medical workers from COVID
On April 23, Delta donated 200 pcs face shield and 100,000 THB to Samutprakarn Hospital for their medical worker’s Covid-19 protective equipment. The funds and equipment was received by Namphol Danpipat, Samutprakarn Hospital Director.
Supporting our local communities throughout COVID
From May to September, Delta made donations and did worked to improve our local communities with the Bangpoo IEAT office.
In June, Delta volunteers made and donated 210 face shields to Klong Bangpu School. In July, Delta donated face masks to Klongbangpoo School and Watradphothong School.
In August, Delta conducted a special COVID-19 prevention training at Klong Bangpoo School and Muthayom Wat Srichanpradit School.
Donating blood to save lives
From May to November, Delta hosted the Thai Red Cross Society for three Blood Donation activities with on 815 Delta employees donating blood.
At Delta Thailand, we are grateful that all of you in our Delta family is safe and healthy. Please understand that because of COVID fewer people are donating blood and hospital blood banks have major shortages.
At the same time, your daily work and support for Delta activities are helping your families who live right here in our local communities and back in your home province. As a member of Delta, YOU are a hero helping people all over Thailand.
We thank you for being heroes for our nation and joining Delta to help our communities during this time of need!
