DET Opens New Factory as COVID-19 Vaccination Center and Donates to Support Thailand’s National Vaccination

Chachoengsao, Thailand, July 16, 2021 - Delta Thailand opened our new factory in Wellgrow Industrial Estate as a COVID-19 vaccination center and donated funds to support Thailand’s national vaccination program.

With Thailand’s 3rd wave of COVID-19, infections continue to spread rapidly in the country. The Chachoengsao Provincial Social Security Office is supporting Delta’s prevention measures and requested our new factory as a location to set up a COVID-19 vaccination site.

Since July 8, medical professionals and volunteers are providing prompt and convenient vaccination for recipients at this new site.

On July 15, Mr. Jackie Chang, Delta Thailand President, represented Delta to donate 100,000 THB to the Chachoengsao Provincial Social Security Office for necessary equipment.

Delta offers meals and drinks for the medical team and site facilities with parking to accommodate medical workers and vaccine recipients throughout the program.

As a sustainable company in Thailand, Delta commits to protecting all our people and Thais throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.

We thank the medical team and volunteers and our DET Safety and Facility teams who support vaccination for all our people who want to protect themselves, their families and the country.
