Sharing eCards and Bringing Hope to Thais on the Holidays

In December 2020, DET Corp Comms and DET SD made a special holiday greeting e-card as a fun way for our Delta family and friends to share season’s greetings on social media while helping our local community.

Many people welcomed the opportunity to count our blessings and help those in need in Thailand. Each e-card share put $1USD plus another dollar from the company into a Delta donation for The Winner House (Bann Pichitjai) Treatment and Rehabilitation Center.

In January 2021, we went to deliver the donation and see the work of great work at The Winner House. This incredible facility not only treats patients, but it also offers classes to teach useful job skills and do practical training.

Patients can learn how to be a coffee barista, artist, or how to grow their own organic vegetables. The staff and trainers offer personalized care and work for a sustainable vision of The Winner House. Their dedication and commitment to help the community left a lasting impression on our team.

During the visit, we discussed how Delta can continue contributing to this valuable community service with both funds and volunteer training.
