Delta Electronics (Thailand) Public Company Limited celebrated the achievements of outstanding young engineers at Delta Academy Graduation Ceremony 2025, held at King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok (KMUTNB). The event marked the fifth year of the program at KMUTNB and the tenth year of Delta Academy in Thailand, underlining Delta’s long-term commitment to developing the next generation of industrial automation leaders.
The ceremony honored talented students from seven leading universities such as KMUTNB, KMUTT, KMITL, Chulalongkorn University, Kasetsart University, Mahidol University, and Burapha University. More than 1,400 students nationwide have now participated in the program, which this year expanded beyond mechanical engineering to include electrical, electronics, instrumentation and control, mechatronics, and embedded systems. Graduates were selected through evaluations by Delta’s Industrial Automation Trainers and university professors, recognizing technical achievement, creativity, problem-solving ability, and the application of industrial automation to real-world challenges.

Distinguished guests included representatives from government, academia, and industry, such as Suthiket Thatpitakkul, Deputy Secretary General of the Thailand Board of Investment (BOI); Prof. Dr. Thanin Silpcharu, President of KMUTNB; Prof. Dr. Teravuti Boonyasopon, Chairman of the Council Committee of KMUTNB; Prof. Dr. Suchart Siengchin, Director of Techno Park at KMUTNB; and Dr. Punpermsak Aruni, Assistant to the Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI). Leaders from the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), the Thai Chamber of Commerce (TCC), and the Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand (IEAT) also joined the celebration.
Delta Academy directly supports Thailand’s strategic development plans, including Thailand 4.0 and the 20-Year National Strategy, which prioritize automation, robotics, digitalization, and AI as key growth drivers. The program also contributes to the government’s goal of producing 280,000 high-tech professionals within five years, supported by workforce training incentives. In 2025, Delta strengthened this commitment by upgrading Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) and Human Machine Interface (HMI) systems at partner universities, ensuring students gain practical experience with the latest automation technologies for emerging industries such as AI and data centers.

Over the past decade, Delta has invested more than THB 30 million in laboratories, student development, and academic partnerships, building strong links between industry and education. These efforts reflect the company’s long-term vision to prepare Thailand’s workforce for the digital era and contribute to sustainable industrial growth.
The 2025 graduation ceremony reaffirmed the value of collaboration between Delta, universities, and government partners in shaping the future of Thai engineering. By fostering practical skills, recognizing excellence, and investing in education, Delta Thailand continues to empower the country’s next generation of innovators and strengthen its path toward Industry 4.0, smart manufacturing, and a sustainable future.
