Delta Connect 2026 Brings Industry Leaders Together in Australia

What comes next for Australia’s technology and infrastructure?

This was the central question at Delta Connect 2026, Delta’s annual event that brings together partners, customers and industry leaders to exchange knowledge and discuss important developments across Australia’s technology and infrastructure sectors.

This year’s event welcomed speakers from AWS, Optimal Group, Fortescue and KPMG, who shared their experience and practical insights across four key areas: data center workforce development, distributed energy, mining decarbonization and emerging technology trends.

The program also included two panel discussions featuring representatives from Zerra, AirTrunk, Arup, GHD and GreenPoint.

The first session, “Beyond Backup Power,” focused on the changing role of power infrastructure and the growing need for reliable energy systems. The discussion addressed how organizations can prepare for increasing power demand while improving operational resilience and supporting their sustainability goals.

The second session, “Technologies Behind Smarter Cities,” explored the technologies contributing to the development of more connected, efficient and sustainable cities. Panelists exchanged views on how infrastructure, energy systems and digital technologies can work together to support future urban needs.
