Delta ESG Forum 2025 Collaborating for a Sustainable Thailand Uniting Leaders to Drive Climate Action, Innovation, and Inclusion

On July 17, Delta Electronics (Thailand) PCL hosted the Delta ESG Forum 2025 in Bangkok under the theme “Collaborating for a Sustainable Thailand,” The event welcomed government officials, industry leaders, ESG professionals, and academic voices to explore how cross-sector partnerships can advance Thailand’s goals for carbon neutrality, responsible growth, and social equity.
Opening the forum, Mr. Victor Cheng, CEO of Delta Thailand, highlighted the company’s commitment to enabling ESG success through innovation, collaboration, and experience. He shared Delta’s global progress including over 52 billion kWh of energy saved by Delta solutions since 2010 and emphasized how local businesses can benefit from Delta’s expertise, from high-efficiency technologies to digital ESG tools.

The morning featured keynote addresses and solution showcases, including:
• Delta’s Internal Carbon Pricing program set at US$300/ton CO₂e, supporting internal conservation and low-carbon projects.
• A strong push toward net-zero goals, with 84% renewable electricity achieved in 2024 exceeding the RE80 target ahead of schedule.
• A 53.6% reduction in Scope 1 & 2 emissions since 2021, aligned with the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi).
• Introduction of Delta’s DelZero platform and ESG AI Service Portal, supporting digital reporting, emissions tracking, and sustainability planning.

Breakout sessions offered attendees the chance to dive deeper into Thailand’s ESG priorities:
• Environmental: Discussed carbon neutrality strategies and renewable energy adoption with input from the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment.
• Social: Explored workplace equity and inclusive growth in a session led by the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security.
• Governance: Focused on corporate disclosure, risk oversight, and legal accountability, with insights from PwC Thailand.The day concluded with a panel titled “Overcoming ESG Challenges to Achieve Sustainability in Thai Industry,” bringing together experts from government, academia, and industry including Delta Thailand’s Sustainable Development Manager, Ms. Aonthip Aorthong. Panelists discussed how policy, innovation, and collaboration can accelerate progress toward national sustainability targets.

Delta reinforced its role as an ESG leader and trusted partner offering both advanced technologies and practical frameworks that help stakeholders across Thailand prepare, adapt, and lead with confidence.
