Delta Future Industry Summit 2025 Charts the Path for Sustainable AI & Smart Manufacturing

What a day! Delta Future Industry Summit 2025 was an overwhelming success, highlighting Delta's critical role in transforming Southeast Asia. Under the theme “Transforming Industry with AI, Automation & Energy in Southeast Asia,” this year’s Summit was one of our most significant events, bringing together top policymakers, key industry leaders, and academic experts to focus on the future that we are building: one that is intelligent, sustainable, and connected.

Setting the Stage for a Smarter, Greener ASEAN
The energy and collaboration at the Summit proved that Delta is at the intersection of the most important industrial changes happening today. We were honored to host Dr. Nattapol Rangsitpol, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Industry, whose opening address emphasized the government’s vision for industrial modernization.

As Mr. Victor Cheng, CEO of Delta Electronics (Thailand) PCL, noted, this annual venue exemplifies our commitment to creating a smarter, greener Southeast Asia together with our partners. The event focused sharply on how the convergence of Sustainable AI, Smart Manufacturing, and Energy Resilience will drive regional transformation.

The Intelligence & Energy Conversation
A key topic reinforced throughout the day was the need for Green AI. Shan-Shan Guo, Chief Brand Officer of Delta Electronics, Inc., gave a compelling address titled, "Greening Intelligence: Charting the Future of Sustainable AI." She highlighted that the research report we supported showed a massive market demand: Up to 78% of companies expect energy efficiency in their AI operations to be relevant within a year! This confirms that Delta’s vision to reinvent ‘grid to chip’ power conversion and enhance resilience through microgrids is absolutely essential to the future.

Expert Insights from the Industry’s Best
The Summit provided a vital platform for sharing best practices, and our teams played a central role. Here’s a snapshot of the high-impact sessions:

• From Automation to Autonomous Solution: Featured Mr. Vatsun Thirapatarapong, Country Manager of Amazon Web Services (AWS) Thailand and our own Mr. Sakda Sae-Ueng, SEA Datacenter Platform Head of Delta Electronics (Thailand) PCL. They explored how automation is evolving into highly intelligent processes powered by machine learning, driving significant gains in workforce productivity.
• The first panel, “How Smart Buildings and Data Centers Are Shaping the Future of Digital Infrastructure,”: Panelists, including Mr. Ke-Vin Lim, Head of Group Innovation at City Developments Limited, Mr. Suthipat Lueprasert, Managing Director of NTT Global Data Centers (Thailand) Ltd and our own Mr. Jacob Sng, SEA Building Automation Platform Head of Delta Electronics Int'l (Singapore) shared insights on optimizing building and data center performance.
• The second panel, “Powering the Smart Factory with Energy Intelligence and Industrial Automation,”: This panel brought together experts Mr. Sven Herschel, VP Bosch Connected Services (Asia Pacific), Bosch Singapore, Mr. Angkhan Tongkumphong, Acting Director of Facility Engineering and Maintenance at Western Digital Storage Technologies (Thailand) Ltd., Mr. Joshua Chang, Equipment Manufacturing Operations & Quality Manager, Kulicke and Soffa Industries, Inc and our own Mr. Alan Chou, SEA Industrial Automation Platform Head at Delta Electronics (Thailand). They discussed how energy intelligence is reshaping the manufacturing ecosystem, boosting efficiency and sustainability.

Showcasing Delta’s Power
During the Summit, we also had the opportunity to showcase a comprehensive range of our innovative solutions, including Datacenter, Industrial Automation, Smart Energy, and EV Charging Solutions. These exhibits demonstrated that for Delta, technological progress and sustainability move forward in perfect alignment.
