Delta Thailand and Burapha University Open Power Electronics Lab to Advance Sustainable Engineering

Delta Electronics (Thailand) Public Company Limited, in collaboration with the Faculty of Engineering at Burapha University, officially launched the Delta Power Electronics Laboratory on July 14, 2025. This cutting-edge academic and research facility is the latest addition to Delta’s nationwide initiative to support hands-on engineering education and drive innovation in sustainable technology.

This marks the fifth power electronics lab established under Delta’s academic partnership program, following successful collaborations with King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok (KMUTNB), King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL), Kasetsart University, and Chulalongkorn University.

The lab is designed to give students and researchers access to advanced tools, experimental platforms, and industry-aligned training bridging the gap between classroom theory and practical application in the growing field of power electronics.

A Shared Commitment to National Talent Development
The launch ceremony was hosted by Dr. Nayot Kurukitkosol, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at Burapha University, and Dr. Nattapan Thanomsat, Head of the Department of Electrical Engineering. The event welcomed senior officials from the Thailand Board of Investment (BOI), including Ms. Sukanya Khampa, Senior Investment Promotion Officer, and Ms. Nuengruthai Pitakkonktrakul, Senior Administrative Officer from the Chonburi BOI Office highlighting public-sector support for this impactful educational collaboration.


From Delta Thailand, key executives in attendance included Mr. Victor Cheng, Chief Executive Officer; Mr. Carl Chen, Chief Technology Officer; and Mr. Yongyuth Pakduangjan, Senior Director of Government and Public Affairs, reinforcing the company’s strong commitment to building industry academic partnerships that strengthen Thailand’s engineering ecosystem.
