Delta Electronics (Thailand) Public Company Limited is once again driving Thailand’s sustainable transformation forward. The company recently donated its advanced electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure to the Thailand Automotive Institute (TAI) to power the Automotive and Tyre Testing, Research and Innovation Center (ATTRIC) a new world-class automotive testing and innovation hub that will shape the future of clean mobility in Thailand and beyond.

The official handover took place during ATTRIC’s Grand Opening Ceremony, attended by leaders from government, industry, and academia. Delta’s contribution reflects its unwavering commitment to accelerating Thailand’s transition to sustainable transportation and supporting national goals to become a regional leader in EV technology and innovation.

ATTRIC represents a major leap in Thailand’s automotive development, serving as the nation’s first integrated proving ground for testing vehicle safety, performance, and dynamics. Located in Chachoengsao’s Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC), the 1,235-rai facility provides cutting-edge testing capabilities that will help Thailand’s automotive sector compete on the global stage.

By integrating Delta’s advanced charging solutions into ATTRIC’s operations, TAI can now conduct comprehensive EV testing under real-world conditions ensuring vehicles meet international performance and safety standards while supporting Thailand’s broader EV adoption roadmap.

Delta’s donation includes:

  • One UFC 200 Ultra-Fast DC Charger delivering up to 200 kW of power with dynamic load management for simultaneous vehicle charging. It supports high-voltage charging (up to 920 V) and secure authentication via RFID or credit card, ideal for demanding test environments.

  • Two AC MAX Smart Chargers providing 22 kW AC output each, with intelligent connectivity and advanced safety standards, enabling flexible and reliable charging for multiple vehicle types. Together, these systems allow ATTRIC to charge up to four vehicles simultaneously, giving manufacturers, regulators, and researchers a complete ecosystem to test next-generation EVs efficiently and sustainably.

Delta’s collaboration with TAI is built on a long history of partnership and shared purpose. Over the years, Delta has consistently supported Thailand’s automotive industry from donations to Kluaynamthai Laboratory and the Automotive Testing Office in 2017–2018 to being honored with the Prime Minister’s Industry Award in 2024 for its contributions to national industrial development.

The partnership between Delta and TAI goes beyond technology. It represents a collective effort to build Thailand’s clean mobility ecosystem, enabling the country to compete globally while protecting the environment. By combining Delta’s charging expertise with ATTRIC’s world-class testing facilities, both organizations are helping shape a future where clean energy and mobility innovation go hand in hand.
