Our Chinese New Year celebration on Monday, 23 February 2026 brought the Singapore office to life with festive colors, friendly competition, and the fresh energy that comes with welcoming a brand new zodiac year. Colleagues gathered in great spirits as we marked the start of the year of the horse together, creating memories that set a lively tone for the months ahead.

The morning kicked off with Great Race activity, a playful Chinese New Year themed scavenger hunt that grouped everyone according to their zodiac animals. Suddenly, the office turned into a buzzing arena filled with excitement, teams racing between clues, cheering loudly, and laughing even louder. The Rat team proved their agility by taking first place, with the Snake team close behind in second. Both teams earned festive red packets, adding a traditional touch of joy and celebration to their victory.
As the activities wrapped up, the sound of drums signaled another beloved tradition: the lion dance. The vibrant lion jumped, swayed, and energized the entire office, symbolising good fortune and positivity. Cameras were out, cheers filled the room, and colleagues gathered shoulder to shoulder to enjoy the moment together. It was a beautiful blend of culture, excitement, and shared happiness.
The celebration attracted strong participation from across the office, with colleagues from different teams coming together not only to join the activities but also to support and cheer for one another. The energy was warm, lively, and full of festive cheer. This type of atmosphere reflects Delta’s inclusive, people centric culture. While Chinese New Year is celebrated every year, this year stood out because of the Great Race. It encouraged cross team collaboration in a fresh and engaging way, complementing the classic lion dance tradition that everyone always looks forward to.

What truly made the event memorable was how it brought people together. From zodiac teamwork to shared laughter and the excitement of red packet rewards, every moment reinforced the sense of team spirit that defines who we are. The celebration was more than just an event, it was a reminder that traditions, when embraced together, strengthen our connection as one Delta family.
As we ride into the Year of the Horse with festive spirit and fresh energy, we move forward with confidence, ready to build stronger connections, work closely together, and create meaningful moments with our colleagues and customers. Here’s to a joyful, successful, and inspiring year ahead for all of us. Happy Chinese New Year once again, Delta team!
