Uphold Core Values for a Diverse, Competitive and Sustainable Workplace

By Delta Thailand - Published July 22, 2024

For the fourth year, Delta Thailand celebrates June Pride Month as we raise awareness of our LGBQT+ community through our DET Voices employee audio interviews. Meanwhile, Thailand has made the historic step of becoming the first nation in Southeast Asia to legalize same-sex marriage after the kingdom’s Senate approved a marriage equality bill.

Delta Thailand is proud to be a leader in highlighting the role of our minority, female and LGBTQIAN+ colleagues who work side by side with us. When the company includes and gives everyone a fair chance, we can fully realize the potential of our people. When we speak out and share our voices, we can help impact our global corporate culture (which now has “inclusion” as a core value) and shape our policies that recognize diversity as vital to our sustainable development.

As members of a company that prides itself on our ESG focus and ethical business, we should speak up and offer feedback on how to create systems that ensure transparency and equal access and opportunity according to our Code of Conduct. We applaud our teammates for their courage in taking a stand against corruption and bias that rots the core of society. Your determination and integrity will help to build a competitive workplace where talent can thrive, and dreams can become reality.

In this issue of 360, we bring you our third Pride Month special edition of our popular DET Voices mini-podcast. Here five members of our LGBT community talk frankly about how we can all support diversity and what “Pride” means to them personally.
