Delta Shines the Light Within to Power Progress

In this special issue themed “The Light Within,” we begin by expressing our deepest condolences on the passing of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, The Queen Mother. As the nation joins in remembrance, we honor her lifelong devotion to the Thai people, a life defined by grace, compassion, and an unwavering commitment to the nation’s well-being. Her gentle strength and selfless spirit continue to shine as a light within Thailand, reminding us that true greatness lies in service, kindness, and love for others.

As Delta joins the nation in honoring Her Majesty’s legacy, we also celebrate the light that shines within each of us, the passion that fuels innovation, the empathy that strengthens communities, and the integrity that shapes a sustainable future. Throughout this issue, we highlight how Delta’s people and partners bring this inner light to life through purpose-driven leadership, collaboration, and creativity, illuminating our shared journey toward a smarter, greener world.

In Focus section, Delta Thailand and DIPROM’s Delta Angel Fund has empowered over 200 startups with THB 33.16 million, generating THB 350 million in value and 927 jobs. Celebrating its 10th year, Angel Fund Connect 2025 adds content creators to enhance startup storytelling, continuing to drive innovation, sustainability, and Thailand’s digital future.

In Up Close section, This issue, we spotlight Jacob Sng, SEA Platform Head – Building Automation, shares his “Inner Glow,” a blend of purpose, resilience, and human warmth. From the spark that ignited his passion to the light he shines through leadership, Jacob reveals how authenticity and optimism illuminate his journey and inspire others.

In On Site section, Mr. Jackie Chang, Chief Operating Officer and President of Delta Electronics Thailand shared strategic insights at the ITD Southeast Asia Forum 2025, highlighting resilience amid global trade shifts. Delta’s focus on advanced power and cooling solutions for AI and data centers, regional expansion, and sustainable electrification. Delta reaffirms Thailand’s role as its innovation hub driving Southeast Asia’s low-carbon transformation.

Furthermore, Delta Thailand and the Metropolitan Electricity Authority (MEA) are partnering to secure reliable power for Delta’s major Bangpoo expansion. With energy demand projected to reach 81.7 megawatts by 2027, the collaboration includes new transmission infrastructure, energy storage solutions, and sustainability initiatives to ensure resilient, efficient growth for Thailand’s industrial future.

In Our Success section, Mr. Victor Cheng, Chief Executive Officer won the “Top CEO Award” in the Technology Business Sector for the second consecutive year, recognizing his leadership in innovation and sustainability. Accepted by COO Jackie Chang, the award highlights Delta’s excellence, strong ESG performance, and commitment to advancing Thailand’s low-carbon, smart energy future.

Additionally, Delta Thailand earned three honors at the HR Excellence Awards 2025, Gold for HR Retention Strategy, Silver for Total Rewards Strategy, and Bronze for HR Communication Strategy. Led by Mr. Chih Hao Huang, Chief Human Resources Officer of the SEA Regio, the company was recognized for its people-centered culture, innovation in employee engagement, and commitment to empowerment and inclusion.

Lastly, Delta Thailand received the Smart Factory Excellence Award at the Industry 4.0 Recognition Awards 2025, honoring its leadership in digital transformation and sustainable manufacturing. Recognized for integrating IoT, automation, and AI, Delta strengthens Thailand’s Industry 4.0 vision, driving innovation, efficiency, and smart, eco-friendly factory operations for the nation’s industrial future.

In CSR section, Delta Thailand sent 18 students from eight top Thai universities to pursue a two-year master’s in Power Electronics at NTUST, Taiwan, fully sponsored by the company. The program nurtures future engineers who will join Delta’s R&D Center, advancing innovation, sustainability, and global collaboration in power electronics and smart technologies.

In Fun section, Delta Australia showcased its spirit of teamwork, wellbeing, and sustainability through environmental action, mental health awareness, and community fitness. Employees joined hands to remove invasive weeds, participated in R U OK? Week activities and ran across major cities embodying Delta’s values of care, collaboration, and commitment to a smarter, greener future.

In Townhall section, Mr. Victor Cheng, Chief Executive Officer of Delta Thailand, honored Queen Sirikit’s legacy while emphasizing Delta’s commitment to innovation, sustainability, and talent development. Highlights included Delta Academy’s fifth anniversary, EV charging donations, startup collaboration with DIPROM, and multiple national awards. His message reflected unity, people empowerment, and driving Thailand’s smart, low-carbon growth
