Delta Thailand IA Hosts 1st Delta SEA Partner Event in Bangkok

Delta Thailand IA successfully hosted the 1st Delta SEA Partner Event at the AVANI Sukhumvit Hotel on January 12-13, 2023. This event is a major milestone in the growth of our Delta IA business in the region.

In light of the global impact on businesses caused by the pandemic, the event theme is “Adapt. Transform. Grow.” Delta aimed to use the event to reflect on our successes with partners during the pandemic, reward resilience and achievements, and share our future growth strategy.
The event was opened by Delta Thailand President, Mr. Jackie Chang who welcomed the attendees with a speech titled- Our world is changed and life is also changed. How to transform our lives in the digitalization age.

In his talk, Jackie shared how Delta’s products align with global megatrends such as Automation, 5G, Datacenter and EV Charging. This helps to boost our business growth year-over-year. Delta’s SEA overall business growth was 20% from 2019 to 2020 and from 2020 to 2021 it was up a further 26%. Last year, we enjoyed a record 31% growth from 2021 to 2022.

Ms. Lisa Su, Head of Global IABG Sales, gave a presentation on the topic- IABG Transformation & Future Directions. “The only sustainable competitive advantage is an organization's ability to learn faster than the competition," she said. Delta IABG’s directions are Technology Advancement, Pandemic Disease, Net Zero, Geo-Political Tension and Demographic.

Mr. Alan Chou, Delta SEA IA Director, shared the 2023 SEA IABG Strategy. Answers to the key question of How to win competitors?-include: Change for sustainability, driving digitalization, strengthening global coverage and industry focus.

All the attendees were invited to join an open discussion and brainstorm on key industry topics such as:

  • The transformation from Product Selling to Solution Provider via industrial upgrades
  • Shifting from Traditional Factory to Smart Factory operation models via digitization
  • Shifting from conventional energy to green high-efficiency energy

On the 2nd day, partners joined a tour of the Net Zero Showroom at Amata City and the Delta Thailand head office in the morning. In the afternoon, everyone enjoyed a special river cruise and dinner in Bangkok.
