DET VOICE #32 Driven by Women, Built with Purpose

By DET Corp Comms - Published March 30, 2026

Across Delta Thailand’s manufacturing lines, women play a vital role in shaping quality, consistency, and care, often quietly, but always with purpose. This International Women’s Day, we take a moment to recognize not only what women do, but how they think, lead, and contribute every day to the heart of our operations.

In this special feature, we share the voices of four women from our manufacturing teams. Through their stories, they reflect on what International Women’s Day means to them, the unique value women bring to the production line, and the female role models who have inspired their journeys. From quality assurance and supervision to leadership and engineering, their experiences highlight patience, resilience, attention to detail, and a strong sense of responsibility.

Boonchuay Chamchumras
IQC Manager, Automotive

Reflecting Within, Growing with Gratitude
For her, International Women’s Day is like a personal internal audit, a moment to reflect on the past year, to recognize what she has achieved, and to identify what she can improve. She believes women bring thoughtful thinking, reasoning, and empathy into their work. On the manufacturing line, these strengths are essential. Women often play key roles in inspection, from checking components before production, during the process, and through to finished goods, ensuring quality before products reach customers.

She sees quality work as a balance. Every step matters, and attention to detail helps ensure high standards are met. That responsibility brings pride, knowing that thorough inspection supports trust, consistency, and customer confidence. Even when her contributions are behind the scenes, she knows they make a real difference.

Her message to other women is clear. “Never underestimate yourself.” She encourages women to set personal standards each year and challenge themselves to reach higher. The most rewarding moments, she says, come when teamwork leads to success, when audits are passed, customers place their trust in the team, and new orders follow. Those moments reveal the power of collaboration and shared determination.

Challenges are part of the journey, especially when goals are missed or multiple issues arise at once. In those moments, she relies on patience, commitment, and belief in her standards. By staying focused and steady, she finds a way through, knowing that persistence leads to progress.

Her values were shaped by her mother, who taught patience, diligence, and dedication. The best advice she carries is never to turn away from a challenge simply because she is a woman. She hopes women everywhere take pride in small daily achievements, appreciate the chance to wake up healthy and able to work each day, and remember that being grateful for themselves is the foundation of true happiness.

Sophit Rattanachai
Production Supervisor, Automotive

Leading with Joy and Purpose
For Sophit, International Women’s Day is about recognition and respect for the work women do and the lives they lead. She believes women bring patience, sensitivity, and attention to detail into everything they do, whether at work or at home. These qualities, she says, are powerful strengths that help create stability and care in both professional and family life.

She genuinely enjoys her work and approaches each day with a positive mindset. Rather than seeing challenges as burdens, she treats them as part of growth. When difficulties arise, she focuses on what can be learned and encourages her team to look for solutions together, believing that a positive perspective can change how challenges are faced.

Her leadership is guided by a clear sense of purpose. She often reminds her team why their work matters. Not only as a source of income, but as a way to gain knowledge and skills that can be applied beyond the workplace. For her, work should help people grow and create value in their lives and families.

Sophit’s greatest inspiration is her mother. Seeing her mother worked hard throughout life motivated her to build a stable career so she could support her family. That belief shapes how she cares for her team as well, encouraging them to remember that they work not only for themselves, but for the people they love.

She began her career as a daily worker and grew into a Supervisor through responsibility, dedication, and respect for the rules. Today, she leads by listening and supporting her team. Through her journey, Sophit hopes to remind women everywhere to trust their own strength, remember why they started, and keep moving forward with patience and confidence, because every effort, no matter how small, shapes growth over time.

Umaporn Naenudorn
Supervisor, Automotive

Confidence Beyond Perfection
International Women’s Day reminds Umaporn of the significance of equality and recognition for everyone in society. She believes women often carry exceptional patience and resilience. As a single mother herself, she understands what it takes to stay strong, work hard, and keep moving forward in life.

What she values most in manufacturing is being part of the decision making process. She encourages women to keep developing themselves and never stop learning. Growth, she believes, comes from continuously gaining new knowledge and embracing opportunities.

She enjoys the dynamic nature of her work, especially collaborating with different teams and working with people from diverse international backgrounds. Achieving or exceeding targets gives her confidence and pride, reminding her that effort and determination lead to results.

Her role model is Opal (Panisara Arayaskul), a well known Thai public figure admired for her confidence and belief that capability matters more than perfection. That message resonates strongly with her. She believes women do not need to excel in every area, being strong in what truly matters is enough.

Her wish for women is to stay strong, keep learning, and seek opportunities. Above all, her family remains her greatest source of support and the reason she smiles every day.

Srinuan Detrungphithak
Senior Quality Engineer, APEBU

Where Strength Meets Gentleness
Srinuan feels proud that women have a globally recognized day. To her, International Women’s Day shows that the world values the roles, responsibilities, and contributions of women everywhere. Women carry both strength and gentleness within them. At work, they are focused and committed, while also being caring, detail-minded, and responsible for multiple roles at the same time.

Working as a woman in manufacturing, she believes there are many roles where women perform well, especially those that require strong attention to detail. Whether in business functions, management, or on the production line, women have proven they can perform as well. She is humbled and proud to be one part of Delta’s bigger system, helping deliver products that reach customers around the world.

Her message to fellow women is one of encouragement and respect. Each woman carries different responsibilities, at work, in families, and as mothers, wives, daughters, or caregivers. She hopes every woman finds strength, motivation, and confidence in the roles she takes on and the person she continues to grow into.

When challenges arise, she values teamwork. Women and men work together, sharing ideas, discussing solutions, and overcoming problems as one team. Even under pressure, tight timelines, and high expectations, good planning and cooperation help everyone reach their goals. These moments of shared success, though small, bring her genuine happiness and pride.

Her mother embodies strength, patience, flexibility, and warmth, and shaped who she is today, leading her to become part of Delta. The best advice she believes in is simple. “Never stop learning.” She wishes women everywhere good health, both inside and out, so they have the energy to move forward, grow, and continue doing good things for themselves and others.

Conclusion
In the spirit of International Women’s Day, these four stories remind us that women play a vital role in shaping quality, care, and continuity on the production line. Through attention to detail, resilience, and teamwork, their everyday actions create real impact, often behind the scenes but always essential. Their journeys show that believing in one’s value and working with purpose truly matters. When women are supported and empowered, positive change follows across the workplace, families, and the wider community.
