Delta Electronics (Thailand) PCL. stepped into the spotlight at NEPCON Forum 2025, sharing its forward-looking vision for intelligent manufacturing and sustainable industry. Set against the elegant backdrop of The Cavalli Casa Resort, this premier gathering organized by the Electronics and Computer Employers’ Association (ECEA) and RX Tradex brought together leaders, innovators, and changemakers to address global economic challenges through technology and collaboration.

In a compelling keynote, Mr. Sann Laohakullawudhi, Senior Manager of Industrial Automation, spoke to the heart of Delta’s mission:

“Transforming industry isn’t just about automation, it’s about equipping people to lead that change. Our role is to empower the next generation of engineers with the skills and tools they need to shape a smarter, more resilient future.”

To accelerate this transformation, Delta is deepening ties with Thailand’s academic institutions. In 2025, the company will broaden its university collaboration program to include nine top-tier campuses, launching hands-on learning labs focused on automation and power electronics. These labs are designed to mirror real-world operations, giving students practical exposure through systems like DIAStudio and SCADA.

This close industry-academia alignment ensures that graduates are not only job-ready, but also capable of driving innovation from day one.

Delta isn’t just supporting digital transformation in theory; it’s implementing it in practice. The company is integrating advanced production technologies such as Digital Twin, Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) to improve productivity, maintain quality, and enhance energy efficiency at its facilities across Thailand.

These advancements reflect Delta’s ongoing commitment to operational excellence, sustainability, and continuous improvement.

As part of its strategic roadmap, Delta plans to grow its local research and development center to nearly 1,000 engineers. This expanded team will focus on breakthrough developments in smart industry, energy management, and eco-friendly solutions driving competitiveness while reinforcing Delta’s role as a technology leader in Southeast Asia.

Delta’s efforts are fully aligned with Thailand 4.0, the country’s national strategy to transition toward a high-tech, innovation-driven economy.
