At Delta, collaboration isn’t just a strategy, it’s part of our DNA. That’s why Delta Thailand recently welcomed the Electrical and Electronics Institute of Thailand (EEI) to our Plant 8 facility for an inspiring exchange focused on education, innovation, and national development. As our industries shift toward smarter, greener solutions, this visit reaffirms Delta’s leadership role in building the capabilities and partnerships that will define tomorrow.

Delta Thailand Strengthens Industry Ties with EEI for Future-Ready Innovation
Delta hosted a high-level delegation from the Electrical and Electronics Institute of Thailand (EEI) at Delta Plant 8 to explore opportunities for deeper collaboration in talent development and technology advancement. This important dialogue underscores Delta’s long-standing role as a catalyst in the nation’s transformation toward a knowledge-driven and sustainable economy.

Leading the session, Delta Thailand CEO Mr. Victor Cheng expressed the company’s shared commitment with EEI “As AI and intelligent technologies reshape our industry, Delta is proud to join hands with EEI to cultivate the next generation of talent. Through initiatives like the Delta Cup 2025, we are investing in both capability-building and sustainable innovation for long-term industry vitality.”

The EEI delegation, led by Executive Director Mr. Narat Rujirat, toured Delta’s cutting-edge R&D center, where teams develop advanced power systems, smart automation, and digital infrastructure for global deployment. The visit highlighted Delta’s ongoing investment in local engineering capabilities and our passion for pushing the boundaries of innovation.

Mr. Rujirat remarked “We are honored to visit Delta Thailand and see the impressive work being done here. EEI and Delta share a commitment to elevating the electrical and electronics sector. We look forward to growing our collaboration, especially in R&D testing, technical mentoring, and educational engagement such as the Delta Cup 2025.”

Delta and EEI have worked closely for more than a decade, especially in the area of product testing, helping to raise technical standards across Thailand’s electronics sector. With the EEI now joining the judging panel for the Delta Cup 2025, the partnership expands its impact on talent development and academic engagement.

The Delta Cup launched in Thailand in 2024 after years of success in China offers university students practical exposure to robotics, automation, and smart solutions. The upcoming 2025 theme, “Sustainable Smart Manufacturing,” challenges students to balance technical innovation with environmental responsibility, a value deeply embedded in Delta’s own mission.

Complementing this, Delta’s broader educational ecosystem including the Delta Automation Academy, and the Delta Angel Fund offers students, startups, and innovators real-world learning and funding support. These initiatives demonstrate Delta’s unwavering commitment to advancing Thailand’s innovation pipeline.

Building the Future, Together
Delta’s continued collaboration with EEI reflects more than just a partnership, it demonstrates our long-standing dedication to empowering local talent, accelerating technological excellence, and shaping a sustainable future. As Delta employees, we can take pride in knowing that our work contributes not only to industry-leading solutions, but also to nurturing the next generation of engineers and innovators. Together, we’re not just powering smart living, we’re building a legacy of progress for Thailand and beyond.
