KMUTT Engineering Students Visit Delta's Smart Factory

Last month, we proudly opened our doors to the next generation of industrial leaders! On November 17, our advanced manufacturing facility at Wellgrow Industrial Estate hosted a delegation of 60 students and faculty members from the Department of Control System and Instrumentation at King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT). This educational visit offered the students an immersive experience in Delta’s world-class Smart Manufacturing ecosystem, directly bridging their academic theory with real-world industrial application, a crucial step for Thailand’s Industry 4.0 journey.

During the visit, the KMUTT delegation was expertly hosted by Ms. Supawadee, Senior Manager at Delta Thailand, who led an in-depth tour and presentation on our integrated manufacturing innovations. Students weren't just observing theory; they were seeing our best-in-class operations in action. They witnessed our live digitized production lines, intelligent automation and robotics systems, precision control and instrumentation, and our commitment to energy-efficient and sustainable industrial practices. By seeing data-driven technologies used in a live environment, students gained valuable, hands-on insight into how innovation, efficiency, and sustainability converge in modern manufacturing.

Our continuous collaboration with leading universities such as KMUTT serves as an important platform for academic–industry collaboration. This initiative reflects Delta’s steadfast commitment to developing future-ready engineering talent. By sharing our expertise and aligning classroom learning with the practical needs of the manufacturing sector, we are actively contributing to building the demand-driven, innovation-oriented workforce that will propel Thailand’s sustainable industrial growth and global competitiveness.
