Delta Electronics was excited to welcome two delegations from the Philippines to our global headquarters in Taipei, Taiwan. The first delegation was the MacroAsia Corporation, a leading provider of aviation-related support services in the Philippines. The second delegation was a semiconductor industry delegation led by the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The main aim of the MacroAsia Corporation was to explore Delta’s datacenter solution and EV charging infrastructure, while the semiconductor industry delegation came to learn about Delta’s smart grid and solutions for industrial automation development.
Mr. Jackie Chang, President and COO of Delta Electronics Thailand, was on hand to warmly welcome both delegations to Delta’s global head office and introduce the company’s businesses in Southeast Asia and products and solutions for the Philippines.
Delta managers from the EV charging and datacenter business units also joined to give technical presentations to Mr. Isaac Sabas, President and CEO of MacroAsia Corporation, and Mr. Anthony Hilario, General Manager of MacroAsia Corporation.
The industry delegation led by Mr. George Barcelon, Chairman, Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry, was welcomed by Mr. Jackie Chang and Dr. Jacky Lai, Head of Smart Grid Business Division, to present Delta’s smart grid solutions.
The delegation also included Mr. Perry Ferrer, Chairman, Semiconductor and Electronics Industries in the Philippines Foundation, Inc. and Mr. Dan Lachica, President, Semiconductor and Electronics Industries in the Philippines Foundation, Inc.
After the talks, the visiting delegations enjoyed a tour of the company showroom to explore Delta’s latest products and solutions including 5G telecom power systems, energy storage and management for smart grid, AI-powered intelligent surveillance solutions and data center power systems.
Delta is a regional power solutions provider and we are happy to welcome local companies to implement green infrastructure in the Philippines. The island nation’s unique geography presents opportunities for Delta to support renewable energy and energy management in areas with limited grid access.
