In line with Delta Electronics' commitment to fostering collaboration and driving innovation across its global teams, the Power Supplies and Battery Group (PSBG) recently concluded two significant global sales workshops, aimed at aligning strategies and setting ambitious goals for 2024. The PSBG Q4 2023 and Q3 2024 Global Sales Workshops provided a critical platform for over 170 executives and team members from 13 countries to engage in meaningful discussions about market trends, business approaches, and product innovations. These workshops reinforced PSBG’s dedication to its long-term growth strategy while highlighting the group’s continued focus on delivering innovative solutions to meet the evolving demands of the global market.
The PSBG 2023 Q4 Global Sales Workshop took place from November 1st to 3rd, 2023, at Chungli Plant 5, where more than 70 executives from across the US, Europe, India, Japan, and Korea gathered to discuss the latest market trends, competitive landscapes, and customer feedback. During the event, over 100 group discussions were held, focusing on ways to optimize PSBG’s product offerings and enhance its market positioning. Teams from PSBG’s 11 Business Units (BUs) and Business Divisions (BDs) showcased their latest innovations, including wireless charging systems and PD wall sockets, which spurred discussions on sales opportunities in key markets like India and the US.
At the closing dinner, General Manager Ares Chen expressed his gratitude to the teams and highlighted the group’s ambitious revenue target of USD 5 billion for 2024, a goal set to drive PSBG’s continued growth. This bold target reflected PSBG’s commitment to leveraging its global resources and cross-functional collaboration to achieve significant market gains.
Following the momentum from 2023, the PSBG Global Sales Workshop 2024 Q3 was held from September 2nd to 4th in Bangkok, Thailand, at the Avani Sukhumvit Hotel. The workshop brought together 170 colleagues from 13 countries, representing PSBG’s regional teams, BUs, and leadership from Delta Thailand and Delta India.
The first two days focused on aligning regional strategies, where representatives shared business approaches and action plans for future product development. Presentations also highlighted advancements in Data Center Platforms, IT & Consumer Hardware, and industrial automation, with insights from strategic partners like Amazon and Microsoft. The discussions fostered a deeper understanding of market opportunities and cross-region collaboration, further strengthening PSBG’s position in the global market.
On the final day, participants toured Delta’s DET 5 and DET 7 plants, gaining first-hand insights into the company’s production innovations and manufacturing capabilities. This experience provided valuable knowledge that would help teams refine their strategies to optimize both sales and product development efforts.
Throughout the workshop, the leadership of Ted Shyy (EVP of Delta Power Electronics), Ares Chen (General Manager of Delta Power and System Business Group), and Steven Bai (Deputy General Manager) played a pivotal role in steering the discussions toward achieving PSBG’s goals. Support from Delta Thailand’s Jackie Chang (President and COO) and Roger Lu (Manufacturing Operations General Manager) was also instrumental in driving collaboration across teams.
As PSBG continues to innovate and lead in the power electronics industry, the insights and strategies developed during the Q4 2023, and Q3 2024 Global Sales Workshops will serve as key drivers for its success in 2024. With an ambitious revenue target of USD 5 billion, strengthened collaboration across regions, and a forward-looking product roadmap, PSBG is well-positioned to expand its global footprint and seize new market opportunities. These workshops mark the beginning of a new chapter for PSBG, as it looks to build on its achievements and deliver exceptional growth in the year ahead.
