Delta Hosts Students from Temasek Polytechnic to Explore Corporate IT Security and Innovative Solutions

Samutprakarn, Thailand, May 7, 2024–Delta Electronics (Thailand) PCL. hosted a group of 45 students of cybersecurity studies from Temasek Polytechnic, Singapore led by the international relations department of King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL). The visit aimed to give the visiting students a look at real-life IT security at a large global company and introduce Delta Thailand’s innovation and businesses.

Mr. KK Chong, Delta Marketing and Sustainability Senior Director, welcomed the delegation to Delta Thailand’s head office in Bangpoo Industrial Estate and introduced the company’s businesses, products and solutions. Ms. Kridsana Wongkaew, Delta Thailand IT Infrastructure Director, gave an introduction to IT security including the current trends and risk landscape, Delta Group Information Security organizational strategies and best practices for cybersecurity managers.

After the talks, the visiting students and faculty were invited to participate in a Q&A about Delta and IT security. This was followed by a tour of the showroom to explore Delta’s products and solutions including networking devices, AI-powered intelligent surveillance solutions and data center and ICT power systems.

As a regional innovation leader based in Thailand, Delta welcomes visits from Thai and regional universities to educate on innovation and green solutions that are shaping industry and society.
