Bangkok, Thailand, June 17, 2024–Delta Electronics (Thailand) PCL. welcomed H.E. Mr. Sanan Angubolkul, Chairman of the Thai Chamber of Commerce and Chairman of the Board of Trade of Thailand, with a delegation of executives from Srithai Superware Public Company Limited to the company head office. This milestone visit is part of Delta’s ongoing efforts to enhance Thailand’s manufacturing competitive edge.
Mr. Victor Cheng, Delta Thailand CEO, and Mr. Jackie Chang, Delta Thailand President and COO, welcomed the distinguished guests and introduced Delta’s sustainable operations including smart and green manufacturing plants in Thailand, India and Slovakia that create job opportunities and have a positive social impact on local communities.
In a sharing session, both sides engaged in discussions centered around strategic collaborations aimed at aligning our development initiatives with the broader goals of the Thai Chamber of Commerce. Primary focus areas include advancements in technology, innovation, and sustainable practices within the Thai industry. By working closely with the Thai Chamber of Commerce, Delta Thailand aims to leverage this partnership to drive growth and foster industry-wide improvements.
Delta Thailand managers then introduced the company operations, industrial automation business group, investment in Thailand and green factory projects for RE100 targets. In addition, the delegation toured the company showroom to explore products and solutions for Thailand and Southeast Asian markets. The visit concluded with a Q&A session for the honored guests.
Delta Thailand partners with the Thai Chamber of Commerce to advance educational development and develop a skilled and innovative workforce in Thailand. Both parties have initiated and supported a range of projects with Thai universities, aimed at enhancing educational quality and increasing the competitiveness of Thai students preparing to enter the workforce. The collaboration includes a variety of projects, training programs, and the establishment of advanced labs to equip Thai students with practical work skills needed in a competitive global landscape.
The Thai Chamber of Commerce and the Board of Trade of Thailand were established to support the government sector to push the free trade and foreign direct investment in collaboration with the Board of Investment (BOI) and the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC). Srithai Superware is a major Thai manufacturer with domestic and international market operations divided into three product groups: Food and beverage packaging, Industrial plastic products, Melamine products and household appliances.
