Building Cebu’s EV Charging Future Together with Delta Philippines and Danao City

Through this EV charging station initiative, we are helping build cleaner transport solutions and climate‑resilient infrastructure for Cebu, Philippines, showing how we value a green future for the communities we serve.

The launch, held on February 3, 2026, at the Boardwalk in Danao City, brought together the City Mayor, members of the City Council, Delta Electronics, CET Technologies, and our local partners. The gathering truly reflected the strong partnership between national and local government units and the private sector, this collaboration reminds us how meaningful progress happens when communities and organizations work hand in hand.

Mayor Ramon “Nito” Durano III shared a message that resonated with everyone.
“By investing in EV infrastructure today, we are preparing our city for long-term economic growth, energy efficiency, and a better quality of life for the people of Danao.”

Our own Vince Del Mundo, Country Manager of Delta Philippines, echoed the same optimism.

As part of this initiative, Delta will deploy our DC Wallbox 25kW DC fast charger and AC Max 22kW charging solution, serving vehicles ranging from e‑buses and e‑trikes to electric cars and motorcycles. Installed at a central government location, this setup ensures reliable charging for both public and private EV users.

Delta’s dual output DC Wallbox boosts EV compatibility for public charging spots. Its wall mounted, modular setup make cost efficient installation and maintenance, and it comes with built in connectivity for easy authentication and remote control.

Our AC chargers deliver reliable and efficient charging from 7 kW to 22 kW, with global compatibility, secure user authorization, and a compact installation design. They are perfect for both homes and busy commercial spaces.

It is a part of why Delta has already deployed over 3 million EV chargers worldwide, supported by our own R&D, manufacturing, and quality systems. Every installation reflects how far we have come together as a Delta family.

Compliance and weather-ready reliability
All charging solutions provided for Danao City fully comply with the Electric Vehicle Industry Development Act (RA 11697) and Department of Energy standards. They are also built to handle local weather conditions and heavy daily use because real change only matters when it lasts.

Community impact: A first step toward a greener Cebu
The installation makes Danao City Hall one of the first government centers in Northern Cebu to offer public-access EV charging. This milestone supports cleaner public transport, lowers operating costs for EV users, and helps local communities breathe easier.
