Bangkok, Thailand, October 5, 2022-Delta Thailand took the Prime Minister's Industry Award 2022 in the Potential Industrial award category for contribution towards the government Thailand 4.0 policy goals with regard to our next-gen automotive product innovation, smart manufacturing solutions and local engineer talent development.

The Potential Industry award category recognizes companies that are a driving force propelling Thailand’s industry to its potential. H.E. General Prayut Chan-o-cha, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand, presented the award to Mr. Jackie Chang, Delta Thailand President.

The key success factors for Delta’s 2022 Potential Industrial award recognition are:

  • Product Innovation: Delta’s high-efficiency DC brushless blowers and wireless fans are developed and produced at Plant 6 for automotive applications that support the government’s policy to develop local EV R&D.
  • Delta Smart Manufacturing (DSM) solutions:
  1. A DC fan frame injection molding machine solution that leverages Delta’s industrial automation products including the servo motor and Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) to increase efficiency and improve productivity.
  2. A smart auto winding machine for cables created and modified by Delta’s Thai engineers for use in local factories.

This is the seventh year for Delta to win the Prime Minister's Industry Award. Delta has won the award in many categories including Productivity, Quality Management and Energy Management in 1995, 2010, 2011, 2020 and Potential Industry and CSR in 2018.

In 2012, Delta won the Prime Minister’s Best Industry Award, which is the highest honor above all other Prime Minister’s Industry Award categories.
