Delta Thailand Honored for Smart Factory Excellence at Industry 4.0 Recognition Awards 2025

Delta Electronics (Thailand) Public Company Limited has been recognized with Smart Factory Excellence Award at the inaugural Industry 4.0 Recognition Awards 2025. The award reflects Delta’s leadership in digital transformation and its commitment to advancing smarter, more efficient, and sustainable manufacturing.

At the ceremony, Mr. Victor Cheng, CEO of Delta Thailand, and Tyler Wei, Head of Manufacturing Operations 2 of Delta Thailand, accepted the award on behalf of Delta Thailand. The prize was presented by Professor Dr. Supachai Pathumnakul, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI). The recognition celebrates Delta’s success in integrating IoT, automation, and AI technologies into its manufacturing processes, strengthening its position as a leader in Industry 4.0 practices.

The event brought together senior government representatives, including Professor Dr. Chookiat Limpijumnong, President of the National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA), who outlined the program’s objectives, and Mrs. Buppha Kawinwasin, Deputy Governor for Sustainable Development at IEAT, who congratulated awardees and emphasized the importance of collaboration between public and private sectors in driving Thailand’s industrial progress.

Industry 4.0 Recognition Awards 2025 is designed to accelerate Thailand’s transformation into a regional hub for high-tech manufacturing. Selection was based on the Thailand i4.0 Index, with 25 enterprises nationwide recognized for excellence in applying advanced technologies to modernize factories, including eight located within industrial estates. The awards highlight the country’s growing momentum in strengthening industrial competitiveness through digital innovation and sustainability.

Delta’s recognition reaffirms its dedication to building flexible, intelligent, and environmentally responsible operations. By applying automation, connectivity, and smart systems across production and facilities, Delta is setting a benchmark for digital transformation in Thailand and helping shape the factories of the future.
