Delta Electronics (Thailand) was awarded the Thailand Energy Award 2024 in the Creative Energy category for its energy efficient data center solution. Presented on 23 December 2025 by Mr. Attapol Rerkpiboon, Minister of Energy, the award acknowledges Delta’s efforts in advancing sustainable and energy efficient technology in Thailand.

The award was received by Mr. Saroj Ruangsakulraj, Senior Manager of the Energy Management Department, alongside six Delta team members.
Delta’s award-winning project showcases the implementation of a green data center solution at the Delta Thailand’s BP2 Data Center, designed to demonstrate reliable, resilient, and energy-efficient data center operations. The solution integrates multiple advanced technologies from Delta, including hot aisle containment to prevent air mixing and reduce cooling demand, modular UPS systems to minimize energy losses from backup power, and precision cooling solutions such as In-row Cooling (RowCool) and Rear Door Heat Exchangers (CoolDoor) to enhance cooling efficiency even in space-constrained environments. These systems are supported by Delta’s InfraSuite Manager, a comprehensive Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) platform that enables secure, reliable, and optimized operations.

Through this integrated approach, Delta has successfully reduced the data center’s Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE) to below 1.45, reflecting a highly energy-efficient and environmentally friendly facility.
Organized by the Department of Alternative Energy Development and Efficiency (DEDE), Ministry of Energy, the Thailand Energy Awards recognize projects and organizations that demonstrate strong performance in energy management, efficiency, and the use of alternative energy. Delta’s green data center solution has also been recognized regionally, receiving the ASEAN Energy Award in the category of Cutting-Edge Technology in Energy-Efficient Buildings.
These recognitions reflect Delta’s ongoing focus on sustainable infrastructure and its role in supporting Thailand’s shift toward more energy-efficient operations.
