ELECRAMA, the largest stand-alone showcase of the Indian Electrical and Allied Electronics Industry, was held from February 18th to 22nd, 2023, at India Expo Mart, Greater Noida. This year's edition, themed "Reimagine Energy—For a Sustainable Future," focused on innovation and future technologies in energy storage, green hydrogen, fuel cells, artificial intelligence, and the Internet of Things.
Over USD 70 billion has been invested in renewable energy in India over the last seven years. A quick look at the manufacturing sector’s contribution to the country’s gross value added (GVA) reveals that it has traditionally contributed 16–17% of the GVA. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and decreased demand, this fell to 14.4% in FY 21. Furthermore, the electrical and allied electronics industry’s contribution to the manufacturing sector ranges from 6.5-7% and has remained nearly constant over the last five years.Delta, a global leader in power and automation solutions, participated in Elecrama 2023 with the objective of showcasing its innovative products and solutions for a sustainable future. The company’s booth featured a wide range of products, including:
Smart Microgrid-based Green EV Charging Station: Delta's Smart Microgrid-Based The Green EV Charging Station is a total solution integrating Delta’s EV chargers, energy storage systems, PV inverters, and EV Charging Infrastructure Management System to enable microgrids. This innovative solution helps reduce energy costs, increase the reliability of the grid, and promote the use of electric vehicles.
VP3000 AC Motor Drives: Delta's new industrial automation VP3000 AC Motor Drives offer power ratings up to 630 kW and enhance productivity while lowering harmonic distortion (THDi) to as low as 35% in industrial motors used in HVAC, pumps, compressors, and water supply applications.
Solar Inverters: Delta's solar inverters are designed to maximize power generation and improve energy efficiency in solar power systems with high efficiency and reliability.
Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS): Delta's BESS is a reliable and efficient solution for storing energy generated from renewable sources such as solar and wind power.
Industrial Automation Solutions: Delta's industrial automation solutions include a wide range of products such as programmable logic controllers, human-machine interfaces, servo drives, and motors. These solutions help improve production efficiency, reduce energy consumption, and enhance product quality and safety.
Delta’s products and solutions generated a positive response from customers, partners, and industry influencers, with particular praise for the Green EV charging station, IoT-based solutions, and products. Attendees appreciated the integration of Delta's EV chargers, energy storage systems, PV inverters, and EV Charging Infrastructure Management systems to create microgrids capable of providing clean electricity to EVs and stabilizing the grid of EV charging stations.
Delta’s achievement at ELECRAMA 2023 provides valuable lessons on the importance of setting clear objectives, developing effective strategies, and analyzing data to measure success. Future events can replicate Delta’s success by focusing on these key takeaways and continuously improving its approach.
