Bangkok, Thailand, January 31, 2020 - Delta Thailand won the prestigious S&P Global Silver Class distinction for excellent sustainability performance as the only Thailand-based company in the Sustainability Yearbook 2020 “Electronic Equipment, Instruments & Components” sector.

This year’s recognition comes after Delta Thailand’s 2018 RobecoSAM Bronze Class Award and reinforces our position as a global sustainability leader within our industry. Over the years, DET has joined the ranks of international sustainable leaders alongside Delta Electronics Group. This year, Delta Electronics Group received the SAM Gold Class distinction in the same category as Delta Thailand. In 2019, S&P Global assessed 4,710 companies in 61 industries under the Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA) with 458 companies from 33 countries qualifying for the Sustainability Yearbook 2020. Delta Thailand won the Silver Class distinction for assessed companies with a total CSA score of at least 57 that is within a range of 1%-5% of the industry's top-performing companies.

Every year, Delta Thailand creates new projects and improves targets on our existing sustainability efforts. For example, the DET sustainable development committee and supporting team escalated our efforts to educate partners and suppliers on the benefits and methodology for anti-corruption and creating a circular economy since 2018.

This continuous improvement and sustainable growth helps DET proactively shape our own role in sustainability leadership that delivers on our brand promise: Smarter. Greener. Together.
