2026: A New Chapter — Our Sustainable Future Starts with Our Values

By Victor Cheng - Published January 30, 2026

Sawatdee Krub! A very happy new year to everyone at Delta Electronics.

As we begin 2026, it is a good moment to reflect on what defines Delta today and the direction we are taking together. This is a time to take stock and sharpen our focus on the priorities that matter most. In many ways, the actions we took last year have already laid a strong foundation for 2026.

In December 2025, Delta stepped up to provide humanitarian assistance to communities affected by developments along the Thai-Cambodian border. This initiative was made possible through contributions from both the company and our employees, reflecting a shared commitment to supporting those facing immediate challenges. In total, 21 pallets and 216 boxes of relief supplies were prepared and delivered. Beyond the donations, many colleagues also volunteered their time to pack and distribute the supplies, ensuring timely support reached families in need. This collective effort reflects the compassion and responsibility that sit at the heart of Delta.

Building on this spirit of care, Delta Thailand also contributed medical equipment and Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) valued at over THB 5 million to Hat Yai Hospital to support the recent southern Thailand flood disaster. The donation included 20 units of high-flow oxygen therapy equipment and three UPS server units to support patient care and critical hospital systems.
We also marked an important milestone in talent development with the inauguration of our newest Power Electronics Laboratory at Mahidol University. Building on our existing collaboration, this initiative expands Delta’s academic network and represents the seventh such facility established in Thailand. The launch, together with the signing of an MOU, reaffirms our shared commitment to strengthening engineering capabilities through practical learning and applied research, helping to prepare future talent for the evolving needs of industry.

Sustainability has long been central to how we operate, and we are now accelerating our efforts by leading more visibly within our own facilities. We have begun the first phase of our internal EV truck transition, deploying two electric trucks within factory logistics as part of our EV100 commitment and Scope 1 emissions reduction efforts. Each EV truck delivers estimated savings of approximately 251,470 THB per year, while reducing greenhouse gas emissions by about 19.73 tCO₂e annually compared to a diesel truck. Supported by our own chargers, this initiative shows how electrification can improve efficiency while translating sustainability commitments into measurable results. Additional EV trucks are planned for deployment this year as we continue to expand cleaner transport within our operations. Our leadership in sustainability and energy innovation was once again recognized nationally, with Delta receiving the Thailand Energy Awards 2024 presented in December last year.

While innovation drives our strategy, it is our people who shape our culture. In Singapore, the year kicked off with energy and fun at the Delta Sports & Funfair Day. From friendly games to team competitions, the event brought colleagues together through laughter, camaraderie, and healthy rivalry. These moments strengthen connections and remind us how much we can achieve when we work as one team.

In the same spirit, Delta Thailand continues to prioritize employee well-being through the 2026 Medical Welfare Policy update, which now includes mental health consultations and fitness membership subsidies for all employees. Our commitment has earned external recognition, with Delta ranked among the top 50 most attractive employers in Thailand.

Looking ahead, technology, including AI, will continue to shape the way we work and the solutions we deliver. At Delta, these tools help us work smarter, optimize operations, and respond more quickly to customer needs. More importantly, they highlight the value of our people, whose skills, judgment, and collaboration remain at the center of everything we do.

As we progress through 2026, let’s focus on building stronger together. From strengthening capabilities to knowledge sharing, and supporting one another to achieve greater results.
Every role contributes to our collective success, and every effort helps shape a stronger, more resilient Delta.

Thank you for your hard work, and I look forward to continuing our journey toward a cleaner, greener, and more innovative Delta.

Yours sincerely,

Mr. Victor Cheng
