Delta Names David Leal as Vice President of Business for Southeast Asia and Tom Hew as Country Manager for Australia and New Zealand

Delta Electronics (Australia) is pleased to announce the appointment of David Leal as Vice President of Business for the Southeast Asia region and Tom Hew as the new Country Manager for Australia and New Zealand (ANZ).

David Leal previously worked as the APAC Regional Sales President for the Eltek Business Unit from 2015 to 2022. In 2019 he took on the additional role of Country Manager for Delta, covering Delta’s other business operations in Australia. Leal said, “It is great to be part of a company that is focused on clean and energy-efficient solutions, and I am excited to be focusing further on the SEA region given its sizeable growth potential.”

Since 2019, David Leal has successfully driven growth in Delta’s business and brand presence in Australia. During his leadership, he has restructured the organization and achieved several remarkable business development successes and milestones. His new expanded regional scope will cover Delta’s Critical Infrastructure System, Energy Infrastructure Solutions and Industrial Automation businesses in the Southeast Asia region.

Tom Hew joined Delta Electronics (Australia) in 2015. He has played an instrumental role in supporting Delta’s growth in Australia through general management of Service, Operations and Data Centre Solutions. Hew stated, “I am excited to continue Delta's journey in the ANZ and Pacific islands to create a sustainable future through smarter collaboration and technology."
