Delta Thailand President Message: DET Leaders Wish You a Happy International Workers Day 2023

Dear DET Family,

This year at Delta Thailand we were thankful to be able to welcome the Thai New Year or Songkran together with you. We hope you had a safe and relaxing time with your loved ones during the long holiday. We pray for another prosperous year ahead.

I also want to thank you all for your diligent work. In May, we celebrated International Workers Day. May 1st is a traditional Spring Festival in Europe but in 1889 the first Workers Day was held in support of worker rights. Thanks to the efforts of many people before us, we now enjoy the right to a safe workplace with sufficient rest and fair compensation.

As a Thai company for over three decades, our people have worked hard to build a better future for themselves and their families. In contrast to some large manufacturers, we prioritize hiring Thai nationals as part of our commitment to uplifting local communities and supporting Thailand’s economy. At the same time, Delta Thailand accepts qualified people from all backgrounds and nationalities who come together for the common mission of a smarter and greener future.
