Sawatdee Krup! As the rainy season begins, we’re all familiar with the challenges it can bring particularly at our Bangpoo plant, where heavy rainfall may lead to traffic delays and increased flood risk. To proactively manage this, our Smart Water Level Monitoring System, introduced to the Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand (IEAT) for Bangpoo Industrial Estate a few years ago, provides real-time tracking, automatic pump activation, and SMS alerts. This could help us stay ahead of disruptions and keep our people and operations safe. With shared focus and preparation, we will remain resilient rain or shine.
Last month, I had the pleasure of joining our Chief Operating Officer and President, Mr. Jackie Chang, for the Coffee Talk at Delta Plant 8. It went beyond a typical conversation; it was a meaningful exchange that reaffirmed the importance of staying connected. We shared updates on our business, including our factory expansions and the rising demand in AI and data center solutions, as well as how we’re navigating recent global challenges, for example, the recent U.S. tariffs. We also addressed practical topics that matter to daily life here such as parking availability, gate access, and our ongoing efforts to support employee well-being, including enhanced mental health services and inclusive HR policies.
I’m grateful for everyone who joined and asked questions. These honest conversations allow Delta leaders to hear from the ground directly to allow us to better prioritize operation improvement plans.
We’ve also seen achievements that highlight the strength and global reach of Delta’s innovation. In April, our team in the Philippines became the first in the country to earn the Philippine Standard (PS) Safety Mark for Delta’s AC EV chargers. It’s a meaningful recognition of our leadership in safe, sustainable solutions that support the region’s transition to electric mobility.
In May, Delta reached a historic milestone as the first company worldwide to receive the 80 PLUS® Ruby certification for our 5,500W high-efficiency server power supplies. Partly designed and fully manufactured right here in Thailand, this accomplishment reflects the incredible dedication and technical expertise of our teams and shows the world what we’re capable of. What matters most is the talented and committed team that made it possible.
Beyond technology, our purpose lies in building a better future. That’s why I was honored to welcome a high-level delegation from the Electrical and Electronics Institute of Thailand (EEI) to our Plant 8 facility. In partnership, we’re exploring ways to strengthen collaboration in R&D, education, and innovation including the Delta Cup 2025, where university students will develop solutions for a smarter, more sustainable world, with EEI joining as a judging partner.
As we enter the second half of the year, I’m filled with gratitude and confidence as always. The global economic headwinds will inevitably bring many challenges for businesses worldwide. That’s why, as we move forward, it is important to stay creative, focused, and committed to doing your best. Each of you plays a vital role in shaping the future we’re building for ourselves and our families.
Thank you for your continued dedication. Stay safe and healthy in this rainy season. Khop Khun Krup.
Yours sincerely,
Mr. Victor Cheng
CEO, Delta Electronics (Thailand) PCL.
