Delta Thailand President Message: Happy New Year 2022!

Dear DET Family,

Sawasdee Pii Mai Krab! Happy New Year 2022! I hope you all enjoyed a Safe and Healthy New Year holiday with your families! We faced many challenges in 2021 from new COVID variants to transformation in our organization. Even today many people in Thailand and around the world are still having a difficult time but at Delta, we will continue to protect our people and accomplish our mission to satisfy our customers.

Since last year, Delta joined the Thai government “factory sandbox” and we are working with authorities to do testing and support anyone at risk at each of our factories. To prevent the spread of the new Omicron variant, we ask everyone to stay on guard and continue to follow guidance from our COVID-19 Taskforce and HR.

You can also take any opportunities available to receive a booster vaccine shot for extra protection. Meanwhile please remember to:

• Always wear your mask properly at Delta

• Follow prevention and testing procedures

• Avoid in-person meetings and business trips

In spite of some bad COVID news, we also had plenty of good news last year and celebrated many incredible milestones for Delta Thailand. We are now part of the world-famous DJSI list for the top-performing ESG global companies! We also won the HR Asia Best Companies to Work for in Asia Award 2021 in Thailand by HR Asia.

I also want to congratulate the Energy Management Team and everyone involved in helping us get the LEED Gold certification for our new Plant 7 in Wellgrow Industrial Estate. Our 2^nd green building in Thailand has:

• 28% improved energy performance

• 100% water-saving toilets and 45% less water use

• 30% green areas onsite

• 30% fresh air rate indoors

You can be proud of our amazing accomplishments and how we are making a positive impact in our country and around the world. Delta is making a difference!

To better address the ongoing pandemic issues like COVID-19, we updated our target United Nations Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) to include SDG number 3 “Good Health and Wellbeing”.

At the same time, we are continuing to give back to society and last month we pledged to work with the Department of Industrial Promotion (DIP), under the Ministry of Industry, and partners to support local innovation development with Angel Fund 2022.

In 2022, let’s continue to be positive, work towards our goals and win together! I look forward to more chances to meet and talk with you soon at our Delta events. Let’s keep protecting ourselves and our Delta Family.
