In Loving Memory of Our Dear Delta India Friend and CFO Mr. Alok Gupta

We are saddened and shocked by the unfortunate demise of our dear colleague & CFO, Mr. Alok Gupta. He spent almost 20 years in Delta Electronics India. As we remember Mr. Alok Gupta, his presence will always be missed, but his smile, teachings, and the opportunity of knowing him will stay with us as an unforgettable memory.

Adjectives fall short of describing him as a person, but they all will attribute respect and admiration everyone has for him. He was affable, amiable, charismatic, enthusiastic, compassionate, perfectionist, altruistic, jovial, and we can go on talking about his good-natured qualities such was his demeanor.

We all know him as he performed multiple roles with equal panache and ease that only he could: as a friend, a guide, a mentor, a guardian, a colleague & above all, a person who always enlightened the room with his very presence and inspiring personality. In whichever way we knew him, he stood apart with his leadership skills, caring nature, and a towering persona.

For him, every challenge was an opportunity to explore solutions where he would navigate through all hurdles, making it easier for others to perform tasks. His commitment to work was admirable, and his larger than life personality was reflected in his energy to celebrate life but what made him a remarkable human being was his humbleness and the ability to lend a listening ear to all of us whenever we needed him no matter what time of day.

A free ride soul, he lived his life to the fullest, which was visible in his passion for Harley Davidson. A true foodie at heart, his love for food was so stimulating that at a spur-of-the-moment, he would be ready to ride even 600 kms to experience and taste the dish of his choice, or try that new restaurant in town and then talk about it with such interest that the next thing we want would likely be a visit to this eatery. He truly believed that life is about living these precious moments, so we all will truly miss these escapades.

He was an inspirational leader with a gift of innovative thinking and unwavering patience, which made him an institution of learning for his team and colleagues. His contributions were immense, along with his virtuous work ethic, which will always make us remember him as a strong pillar with a foundation of commitment and integrity. A true 'Gentleman,' & 'Gem of a Person,' who was always ready to walk the extra mile to help others with his knowledge, mentorship & skillfulness.

Everyone who had an opportunity to work or interact with him remembers him as someone who never stopped motivating people at every level. His approachable leadership style supported many in resolving the challenges they witnessed during work & encouraged many to deliver their best with help from his suggestions and guidance. Mr. Alok Gupta always believed in building an environment where everyone encourages each other, and collectively team progresses to achieve common goals.

He had a unique team-building style and never missed an opportunity to host celebrations or get together for team bonding. His actions and efforts always reciprocated the goodness in his heart for others. He was forthcoming in helping people & even their family members.

His doors were always open for friends & colleagues, not just to take his professional advice but also to listen to their personal problems and initiate the best to resolve it. An inspiring quality that gave many people the confidence to build new forts of success under his mentorship.

It will be a daunting task to fill the vacuum he has left behind, but he will always be remembered as one of the most respected and loved Delta family members. For all of us, there is a memory with him that will always be cherished with his presence in our life. While remembering him, words may not be enough, but the respect everyone has in their eyes for him will always make us believe in what he taught us and stay with us forever.

His life touched so many people and will continue to inspire many more to work hard, be kind to others & not take life too seriously. His humor, kindness, and selflessness will continue to encourage all of us. A beloved family man, a cherished colleague, and a caring friend who will be missed but never will he be forgotten. We pray to God that his soul rests in peace and give his family strength in these difficult & challenging times.

As the CFO of Delta India, Alok has displayed a great sense of responsibility, is always dependable and meticulous and well-liked by his peers. He is one of the top talents that the company was grooming. Delta has not only lost an excellent member but also an immense talent. On behalf of Delta Thailand Group, I would like to convey my deepest condolences to his family and loved ones. Thank you sir for being part of the Delta family.

Judy and I at the Delta Group Finance Family are deeply saddened about the sudden passing of Delta India’s CFO and our esteemed colleague Mr. Alok. We will always miss and remember him as a supportive colleague, brave leader and true friend. While I cannot imagine how difficult this must be for everyone, we will do our best to see this through together. I always enjoyed the beer after work with Alok that always included the Australian India cricket banter which is synonymous with our countries. Too sad to lose a strong talent like Alok so early in his life. My heartfelt thoughts go out to the family.

I felt my heart really ache when I heard the news. Alok was not only a close colleague but a very dear friend. I’ve known him for many years. Many times when we were facing challenges at work, Alok was always instrumental in overcoming the hurdles to deliver successful outcomes. Alok is as hard-working as he is positive and humorous. I will miss his smile and all the conversations we’ve had. I would like to convey my sincerest condolences to his family during this difficult time.

I’ve met Alok many times at DET. We’ve crossed paths occasionally regarding work arrangement. He always came across as a very approachable and composed person. Over the years we’ve become more like friends than colleagues. His positivity and generous personality will be remembered. Rest well, my friend.

I am not only losing a colleague but a friend who had taught me how to live life to the fullest and that hard work will pay off. He will be missed dearly and I believe he is now in a better place.
