Update on COVID-19 Preventive Actions to be Taken by DET’s Employees

To follow-up with the preventive actions of COVID-19 in Delta Electronics Thailand (DET), has the following regulations and required actions. Delta Thailand uses data from the WHO and US CDC to determine the company’s COVID-19 regulations for employees and visitors as follows:

We ask everyone to avoid any personal travel to Level 2 or Level 3 risk countries (confirmed cases equal and over 60) to prevent infection risk. No business travel is allowed to Level 2 or Level 3 risk countries. Managers will strictly review all employee’s reasons for personal leave application based on the above instructions. Please confirm country’s level of risk via the WHO website https://www.who.int/emergencies/diseases/novel-coronavirus-2019/situation-reports.

If employees have been to a Level 2 or 3 risk country in the last 14 days you must immediately report this to your manager and Safety. Any employee or visitor who has been to Level 2 or 3 risk countries cannot enter the company premises for at least 14 days after entering Thailand. Employees are responsible to inform your own visitors about the company rules.

If you don’t follow the above mentioned rules you risk causing major damage to the company. You will be held responsible for any damage caused by your actions.

If the company orders any employee to work at home they can apply for paid with leave type W work outside/Subcontract.

There is currently no vaccine to prevent Covid-19 infection. The best way to prevent infection is to avoid being exposed to this virus. However, as a reminder, everyday preventive actions to help prevent the spread of respiratory viruses are recommended, including:

1. Wash your hands often with soap for at least 20 seconds. Otherwise, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer.
2. Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
3. Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
4. See the doctor and stay at home when you are sick.
5. Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.
6. Disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces.
