Delta Leads the Future with AI at the 2024 Future Industry Summit

Delta Electronics Thailand recently hosted the Delta Future Industry Summit 2024 at Bangkok’s Chatrium Grand Hotel, drawing together industry leaders, innovators, and policymakers to discuss AI's transformative role in Southeast Asia. With the theme “Unlocking the Potential of AI for Industrial and Data Center Growth in Southeast Asia,” the summit explored how AI can revolutionize industrial automation, optimize data centers, and enhance building automation, aligning with Delta’s vision of a more sustainable future.

The summit featured prominent speakers, including Thailand’s Deputy Prime Minister H.E. Mr. Prasert Jantararuangtong and Delta Thailand CEO Mr. Victor Cheng, who highlighted the potential of AI to reshape industries and economies across the region. In his keynote, Mr. Victor emphasized Delta’s role in pioneering AI-driven solutions, including the air-assisted liquid cooling (AALC) system, which increases cooling capacity while reducing energy use by over 90% compared to traditional systems. This innovation, along with Delta’s smart manufacturing, energy infrastructure, and intelligent building management solutions, reinforces Delta’s commitment to driving sustainability and efficiency through technology.

Notably, Mrs. Paradee Sinthawanarong, Head of Marketing for Thailand & Vietnam at Meta, delivered a keynote address on “The Future of AI-Driven Connectivity.” She highlighted how Meta’s recent advancements, including the Advantage+ Creative feature, enable Thai businesses to create dynamic, customized advertising campaigns with AI-powered personalization, reaching over 3.27 billion daily users globally. She underscored Meta's commitment to using AI to empower businesses with tools that drive both connection and efficiency.

Mr. Tim Rosenfield, co-founder and co-CEO of Firmus Technologies, also took the stage to discuss the significant opportunities and challenges posed by AI’s growing energy demands. He emphasized that Southeast Asia, with its expanding data center market, is ideally positioned to adopt sustainable practices, such as liquid cooling infrastructure, which can reduce power consumption and CO₂ emissions by up to 50%. His insights reinforced the importance of sustainable technology as data needs grow.Lively panel discussions further enriched the summit, with participants addressing AI's challenges and opportunities. The first panel, titled “Challenges and Opportunities in Implementing AI Datacenter Infrastructure,” featured industry experts from True IDC, Grab, Meta, and Delta. The conversation focused on responsible AI practices and strategies for integrating AI into existing platforms, underlining the importance of transparency, agility, and innovation. The second panel, “Harnessing the Power of AI for Intelligent Work and Living Spaces,” included leaders from CapitaLand, SCG, Kasetsart University and Delta, who shared insights on AI’s impact in creating more efficient and sustainable work environments and discussed practical solutions for data integration and system alignment.

Throughout the day, Delta showcased a range of its AI-powered solutions, including data center infrastructure, smart manufacturing, energy infrastructure, and intelligent building management, all aligned with Delta’s mission “to provide innovative, clean, and energy-efficient solutions for a better tomorrow.” By hosting this event, Delta reinforced its leadership in AI and its dedication to supporting the region’s growth with sustainable technology.
