Honoring Our Employees, Customers, and Partners for 35 Years of Success

By Delta Electronics (Thailand) PCL. - Published October 03, 2024

This year marks a significant milestone in Delta Electronics Thailand’s journey—our 35th anniversary. Over the past three decades, we’ve grown from a small office in 1988 to becoming Thailand's largest electronics manufacturer by market capitalization. This incredible achievement is a testament to the dedication of our employees, who have continuously driven our success.

As we celebrate this anniversary, we reflect on the core values that have shaped our company: Integrity, Innovation, Collaboration, Inclusion, and Empowerment. These values are the foundation of everything we do, guiding our actions and ensuring we uphold the highest professional standards, embrace creativity, work together with our partners, foster a diverse and inclusive environment, and empower each other to achieve success.

In the Up-Close section, one of the leaders who has been with us from the very beginning is Mr. Kittisak Ngoenngokngam, Senior Director of Energy Infrastructure Business. In this issue, he takes us on a journey through his career, sharing how Delta’s culture of innovation and collaboration helped him grow both personally and professionally. His story is not just about his own success but also about the importance of mentoring and guiding the next generation of leaders at Delta.

As part of Our People on Inclusion, we are also proud to celebrate Mother’s Day with a special feature on the working mothers at Delta. In our DET Voices mini-podcast, four incredible women share their experiences balancing the demands of motherhood and a full-time career. These conversations highlight the strength and resilience of our Delta family, reminding us that empowerment comes from supporting one another.

In the Focus section, we cover the VIVOTEK AI Solutions Seminar 2024, where Delta employees were introduced to advanced AI-powered surveillance technologies. This event demonstrated our commitment to Innovation, showcasing how Delta continues to break through the status quo and lead the industry with cutting-edge solutions that enhance both security and operational efficiency.

We also reaffirm our Sustainability goals. In a recent seminar on "Clean Energy, Sustainability, and the Future of Business Survival in the Modern Era," Delta Electronics reiterated our commitment to achieving carbon neutrality by 2030 and net-zero emissions by 2050. Through initiatives like transitioning to 100% renewable energy and developing sustainable products, we are driving efforts to reduce our carbon footprint and lead the way in global sustainability.

Our commitment to Empowerment extends beyond our employees. In partnership with the Department of Industrial Promotion (DIPROM), Delta has been supporting Thai startups through the DIPROM x DELTA Angel Fund for nine years. By providing financial support and expert guidance, we’ve helped create nearly 1,000 jobs and foster innovation, positioning Thailand as a global leader in technological advancement.

As we look ahead, we continue to place Collaboration at the heart of our strategy. The Automation Academy 2024 is just one example of how we are empowering the next generation of engineers through hands-on training. Since its inception, the program has trained over 3,000 students, aligning with Delta’s mission to drive sustainable development and prepare young talents for the high-tech industries of the future.

In the CSR section, we highlight our partnership with Chang Gung University in Taiwan, Chiang Mai University, and KMITL to offer a 3+2 dual-degree master’s program. This initiative provides Thai students with world-class education and hands-on experience in high-tech fields. Delta supports the program by offering full scholarships, internships, and employment opportunities, demonstrating our dedication to building Thailand’s high-tech workforce.

In celebration of National Mother’s Day 2024, Delta Thailand employees participated in a mangrove reforestation initiative at the Bangpu Nature Education Center. This environmental effort not only contributes to climate action but also honors Her Majesty Queen Sirikit. The initiative is part of Delta’s broader sustainability mission, reinforcing our commitment to achieving carbon neutrality by 2050.

In the Our Success section, we celebrate Delta’s recognition at the 2024 RE100 Leadership Awards, where we were honored with the RE100 Market Trailblazer Award. This award acknowledges our commitment to driving market change, transparent communication about challenges, and collaborative efforts with companies, utilities, and governments to advance renewable energy adoption. This accolade reflects Delta’s leadership and dedication to creating a sustainable future.

In the Fun section, we’re excited to announce the return of the Delta Music Festival New Year Party on December 20, 2024, at Royal Home Mart, Bangna-Trad Km. 27. This highly anticipated event will feature performances by famous artists and Delta employees, along with exciting contests and a Best-Dressed competition to make the night unforgettable.

Finally, Delta Electronics SEA's H2 2024 Townhall highlighted the company’s strong financial performance, strategic growth in sectors such as e-mobility and data centers, and its focus on Southeast Asia’s market potential. The event emphasized Delta’s commitment to employee development, career growth, and wellness, reinforcing our vision for innovation and a sustainable future while empowering our workforce.

Together, through our core values of Integrity, Innovation, Collaboration, Inclusion, and Empowerment, we are shaping a better future for Delta, our communities, and the world. As we celebrate 35 years of success, let’s look forward to many more years of growth and shared achievements ahead.
