As the Southeast Asia and Indian regions are showing promise for Delta’s expansion in terms of business growth, Delta Group sees the necessity to ensure that our senior management team is equipped with skills to handle external stakeholder communications. The event aimed to facilitate Delta branding and achieve better PR performance.
The Public Speaking and Media Communication Workshop was a hybrid event held in Delta Thailand on August 4th and joined online by executives in India. In total, 25 managers attended the workshop facilitated by trainers from Delta Corporate Communications from Delta Global HQ in Taiwan. Delta SEA HR worked with Delta Thailand Corporate Communications to host trainers and regional spokespersons.
For this session, we were honored to invite – Jair Sossa and Janet Wei from DEI Corporate Communications to organize a learning workshop for participants with comprehensive know-how, sharing real Delta experiences and the Dos and Don’ts of PR.
After the sharing, it was time for a team activity and role-play live session. Members from each team practiced answering tough questions from journalists and everyone discussed the answers and gave feedback after. In addition, we watched two recorded mock interviews with Delta managers to learn more tips on answering questions from the media.
Finally, Delta Thailand Corporate Communications and Delta India Marketing shared their latest strategies and actions to drive the Delta brand in their local markets.
Thanks to the active participation of each attendee and the support of HR and Corp Comms (global and regional) the event was a resounding success!
