Founded as Delta Group’s first overseas location in 1988, Delta Electronics Thailand laid the groundwork for its growth into a global provider of power and thermal management solutions. The company began by producing electronic components, including its first product, Magnetic and EMI Filters, serving key customers in the tech and automotive industries.
In 1995, Delta Thailand was listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET), and today it holds the highest market capitalization among Thai-listed electronics companies. Delta Thailand’s role within the Delta Group is pivotal, with consolidated revenue exceeding USD 4.1 billion.
Since 2010, Delta Thailand has been producing EV power electronics. The new Delta Plant 8, set to open in 2024, will meet the increasing demand for these products, supporting the rapidly growing EV market. Additionally, the new R&D center will develop automotive power electronics locally for the first time, boosting Thailand’s industry, economy, and environment.
Delta Thailand’s commitment to excellence was recognized in both 2012 and 2023 when it received the prestigious Prime Minister's Best Industry Award for achievements in energy, innovation, productivity, quality, safety, environmental sustainability, and CSR.
From 2021 to 2023, Delta Thailand was included in the globally respected Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI) for its outstanding environmental, social, and governance (ESG) performance. As the only Thai company in the DJSI World lists for the “ITC Electronic Equipment, Instruments & Components” industry segment, Delta Thailand continues to lead the industry in ESG practices, contributing to energy efficiency projects, local talent development, and anti-corruption efforts.
